We were honoured to be approached to craft and produce this activation for the second series of the BBC’s flagship show “The Celebrity Traitors” via their agencies, on our dual fascia canvas in Manchesters’s Northern Quarter.

One wall features a photorealistic painting of Claudia Winkleman, surrounded by Scottish gothic elements from the show with a custom hand-crafted cricket-style score-board.

The other wall features gilded portraits of all 21 celebrities to mimic the actual wall in the castle, featured in the show.

The portrait wall was installed and painted in secret behind a custom “Fame won’t save them” banner. This allowed a reveal moment, marked by a 16-Druid procession through Manchester’s city centre arriving at the mural to be greeted by a live 17-piece acapella choir performance of the show’s theme tune.

The mural has already attracted large crowds, beyond the launch event itself, which are expected to grow further, as the artwork evolves throughout the series as players are murdered and banished.
